Edition 2025 — Monastery Festival Michaelstein
The Michaelstein Monastery Festival 2025 traditionally took place on a Sunday at the end of August in the former Cistercian monastery near Blankenburg. Concerts, theatre, puppet theatre, and the popular Green Market attracted a diverse family audience from the Harz region and beyond.
In 2025, the Michaelstein Monastery Festival once again attracted a large audience to the historic monastery grounds. The Kulturstiftung Sachsen-Anhalt combined classical music, gospel, puppet theatre, and the Green Market into a packed Sunday programme. An established date in the cultural calendar of the Harz.
