Edition 2025 — Michaelis-Kirchweih
The Michaelis-Kirchweih 2025 once again transformed Fürth's city center into Germany's largest street Kirchweih. With approximately 2,700 meters of stall frontage, over 250 exhibitors ensured a bustling atmosphere. The Harvest Thanksgiving parade on October 12, 2025, with around 90 bands and ensembles, was once again the highlight.
In 2025, the Michaelis-Kirchweih once again lived up to its reputation as the “Queen of the Franconian Kirchweihen.” For twelve days, rides, a Ferris wheel, hundreds of stalls, and food stands shaped the cityscape. With around 254 exhibitors, seven large amusement rides, a Ferris wheel, and numerous children's rides, the “Kärwa” offered entertainment for the whole family. The Harvest Thanksgiving parade on October 12, with around 90 bands and ensembles, as well as the traditional marriage lottery and the Betz’n Tanz, underscored the festival's cultural status as Intangible Cultural Heritage in Bavaria.
