Edition 2025 — Stadtteilfest Mettenhof
The 20th Mettenhofer Stadtteilfest in 2025 was celebrated in September with a special programme on the park meadow at Heidenberger See. Around 4,000 visitors enjoyed the stage programme, intercultural cuisine, and special anniversary activities.
The 2025 edition celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Mettenhofer Stadtteilfest. On the park meadow at Heidenberger See, around 40 institutions, clubs, initiatives, and organisations set up stands with culinary specialities, information, and interactive offers for families.
The anniversary festival exemplified Mettenhof's development over the last two decades — from a stigmatised district to a self-confident, intercultural, and engaged living environment. The district conference also used the anniversary to honour Vonovia and the City of Kiel as long-standing partners.
