The 31st Messe der Griesen Gegend brought together residents and guests of the region on May 1, 2025, at the Lübtheen festival grounds. With Maypole erection, a craft market, and a packed program of associations, the event offered its usual mix of tradition and folk festival.

In 2025, the Messe der Griesen Gegend was once again the most important May 1st event in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district. On Labour Day, thousands of visitors came to the Lübtheen festival grounds to see the Maypole erected, stock up on regional products at the farmers' market, and follow the program of associations. The town of Lübtheen and the local festival committee once again organized a diverse family program with a carousel, bouncy castle, and stage music. The festival once again strengthened the sense of community in the Sandheide region of Southwest Mecklenburg.
