Edition 2025 — Merksteiner Weinfest

The 5th Merksteiner Weinfest 2025 confirmed the success of the format. Four days of well-attended wine enjoyment at August-Schmidt-Platz, many regular guests from Herzogenrath and Dutch visitors from neighbouring Limburg. Stadtmarketing Herzogenrath drew a positive conclusion and continued the festival in its established form in 2026.

In 2025, the wine festival further established itself as a permanent late summer tradition in the German-Dutch border area. The combination of a curated selection of vintners and a relaxed open-air atmosphere once again convinced connoisseurs from the region.
