Edition 2025 — Lindwurm Menden
The Menden Lindwurm 2025 paraded through the city center on Tulip Sunday — described as the "greatest Lindwurm of all time" in the history of the MKG Kornblumenblau club. Thousands of revellers in floats and walking groups, brass bands, dance troupes, and themed performances characterized Menden's carnival highlight. Thousands of spectators from the Märkischer Kreis district lined the streets — Menden's status as a Sauerland carnival capital was once again confirmed.
MKG Kornblumenblau organized a particularly large Lindwurm in 2025 — club insiders speak of the "greatest Lindwurm of all time." With floats, walking groups, brass bands, and thousands of revellers, the carnival parade marched through Menden's city center on Tulip Sunday, bringing the Sauerland together for the carnival highlight. A Sauerland carnival tradition that is confirmed every year: carnival is not just a Rhineland phenomenon.
