Overview

The Memmingen Carnival Parade 2025 was part of the Fool's Weekend with a brass band star march, carnival mass, and the atmospheric twilight parade on Saturday evening. On Carnival Sunday, the Stadtbachhexen paraded with numerous groups from the Swabian-Allgäu region through Memmingen's old town.

In 2025, the Memmingen Carnival Parade seamlessly joined the Fool's Weekend around Rose Monday: The brass band star march and the carnival mass kicked off the festivities, while the twilight parade on Saturday evening created the typical Memmingen atmosphere with torches and illuminated floats. On Carnival Sunday at 2 PM, the grand parade formed along Maximilianstraße and Marktplatz, led by the Stadtbachhexen Memmingen carnival guild and numerous carnival societies from Swabia, the Allgäu, and the Lake Constance region. Thousands of costumed visitors lined the route; Memmingen's city center became the meeting point for the carnival.
