The 2025 Meininger Dampfloktage once again attracted around 14,000 visitors to the Meiningen Steam Locomotive Works. With half-hourly guided tours, cab visits, special trains, and a model railway exhibition, the event was a typical pilgrimage site for railway fans from all over Germany.

Meininger Dampfloktage 2025 — Review

The 2025 edition of the Dampfloktage further solidified its status as one of Germany's most important railway events. Half-hourly works tours, cab visits of historic locomotives, special trains from several major cities, a model railway exhibition, and a packed supporting program once again drew around 14,000 visitors to Europe's only DB steam locomotive workshop. A classic railway festival staple.
