MEHRLICHT!MUSIK — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition took place, as is tradition, in November — several concert evenings featuring world premieres of student compositions from the composition classes of both universities, UdK Berlin and HfM Hanns Eisler. The works were performed by established specialist ensembles for contemporary music, in the Studiosaal of HfM Hanns Eisler in Mitte and the Probensaal of UdK Berlin in Wilmersdorf.

The festival is a central part of the study program for both universities — students present their works here under professional conditions, and the Berlin audience gains insights into the next generation of German composers. As always, ticket prices were very moderate and often free for students.
