The Medieval Market & Viking Spectacle 2025 took place as usual in May at Hafen Heveney on Kemnader See. The established elements — dragon ship, 50+ stalls, knight fights, and free Viking ship rides — formed the program. The agency Mittelalteragentur Sündenfrei has been presenting this concept in an identical form for years.

May 2025 once again brought two days of Viking village to Kemnader See. Families from Bochum, Witten, and the entire Ruhr area came to the water to experience the dragon ship, knight fights, and market activities. The agency Mittelalteragentur Sündenfrei from the Bergisches Land region brings this concept to various locations annually — Kemnader See is its most important venue in the Ruhr area.
