The 11th Medieval Market at Schloss Herrenbreitungen took place from May 1st to 3rd, 2025. Three days of medieval market with merchants, craftspeople, music, falconry, and a fire show — and a staged reenactment camp outside the castle walls, marking the prelude to the expanded 'Storming of Herrenbreitungen' in 2026.
11th Medieval Market — Review 2025
The 11th edition in 2025 continued the established tradition: three days of medieval castle animation with 40+ stalls, live music from well-known medieval bands, falconry, and a fire show. A special feature in 2025: reenactment groups set up an authentic camp outside the castle walls for the first time — and announced their return in 2026 with reinforcements to 'conquer' the castle. This staging marks the prelude to the major 2026 event.
