Overview

The last edition before 2026 continued the biennial tradition of the Medieval Market Festival Markt Erlbach. In 2024, jugglers, minstrels, craftsmen, and camp groups once again transformed the old town into a lively medieval spectacle with a fire show and fireworks.

The Medieval Market Festival 2024 confirmed the event's firm place in the Franconian festival calendar. Markt Erlbach once again opened Hauptstraße, Kirchgasse, and the Weed for a weekend full of medieval programming, attracting several thousand visitors to the northern Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district.

The fire show on Saturday evening and the traditional fireworks once again formed the emotional highlight. The associations, camp groups, and craft demonstrators proved their reenactment skills and ensured an authentic atmosphere. This edition marked the start for the next one in 2026.
