The medieval festival »Knights, Bards, Cutpurses« at Hilpoltstein Castle also took place in May 2025 on a weekend. The castle ruins were transformed into a lively medieval village with minstrels, crafts, a fire show, and a children's program – with free admission.

In 2025, the medieval festival at Hilpoltstein Castle already attracted numerous visitors to the historic castle ruins above the Middle Franconian old town. As every year, the castle grounds were transformed into a colorful medieval village with minstrels, jugglers, knights, and craftsmen.

Medieval music, archery, blacksmith demonstrations, a fire show, and a varied children's program made the festival an experience for the whole family. Admission was free. The festival was organized by the town of Hilpoltstein as part of the HIPlive series.
