Overview

Already in 2025, the Marzahner Nachbarschaftsfest took place on Marzahner Promenade. Three and a half hours of stage program, children's areas, over 25 club booths, and a mix of dance, circus, jazz, and folklore characterized the district festival. Organized by the Marzahn-Hellersdorf District Office with support from Degewo.

The 2025 edition continued the established format and confirmed Marzahner Promenade as the central public space of the district center. It is part of a recurring festival cycle with which Marzahn-Hellersdorf makes its democratic, cultural, and social claim visible.

Thus, the Marzahner Nachbarschaftsfest is one of the reliable district festivals in the state of Berlin – not spectacular, but consistently community-building, and a successful example of how district offices, the housing industry, and civil society can jointly support a neighborhood festival.
