Overview

The 28th edition of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf Choir Festival took place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the Wuhlgarten hospital church. Ten choirs from Berlin and Brandenburg shaped the day; outside, a petting zoo, hands-on stalls from the district centers, and catering complemented the program. The patron was the district councilor Juliane Witt, who praised the festival as a "real highlight for everyone who loves music and singing."

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the Marzahn-Hellersdorf District Office, together with the Senior Service Office, the Association of District Centers, the Hospital Church, and Wuhlgarten e. V., invited visitors to the 28th edition of the Choir Festival in Wuhlgarten, Biesdorf. From 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, around ten choirs from Berlin and Brandenburg performed on the stage of the Hospital Church—a "diverse showcase of choral music," according to the organizers.

Around the church, the well-known family afternoon unfolded: a petting zoo with guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, and a llama, hands-on activities from the Association of District Centers, catering from the community centers, and a stand from the volunteer fire department. The responsible district councilor Juliane Witt once again served as patron. Admission was free. The 2025 edition confirmed the Choir Festival as a firm fixture in the district's summer calendar and paved the way for the 29th edition on June 27, 2026.
