Review of the 2025 Kirchweih
From November 7 to 10, 2025, Herzogenaurach celebrated its Martinikirchweih. Hauptstraße between Reytherstraße and Steggasse, the Marktplatz, and Badgasse were closed to vehicle traffic from Thursday, November 6, 7:00 AM. Mayor Dr. German Hacker opened the Kirchweih on Friday at 5:00 PM.
On Sunday shopping, November 9, 2025, the shops in the city center were open from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Lángos, crêpes, Schmalzgebäck, mulled wine, and Herzogenaurach beer characterized the culinary side. The Herzogenaurach Volunteer Fire Department, as every year, was responsible for securing the festival.
