Overview

The 7th edition of the Martha Argerich Festival in 2025 once again brought top-class classical artists to Hamburg's concert halls. The Laeiszhalle, Elbphilharmonie, and Mojo Club formed the trio of venues. The Symphoniker Hamburg served as the resident orchestra, with the program spanning from Beethoven and romantic repertoire to jazz and East Asian stage traditions.

The 7th edition of the Martha Argerich Festival took place in 2025 in its established format: ten days of concerts in the Laeiszhalle, Elbphilharmonie, and Mojo Club, supported by the Symphoniker Hamburg and international soloists.

The program combined classical chamber music with surprising genre fusions – jazz in the Mojo Club, focuses on non-Western music traditions, and virtuosic concert evenings in the Laeiszhalle. The festival once again confirmed its role as Hamburg's late-summer classical highlight.
