The 2025 Marktplatzfest of the Leinfelden Department took place on July 5th and 6th, 2025, around the Town Hall. The 61st edition of a tradition since 1964 — catering, live music, fire brigade drills, and a family program once again attracted hundreds of guests to the Leinfelden district.

61st Edition 2025

In 2025, the Marktplatzfest once again proved to be a reliable summer event for the Leinfelden brigade. In warm summer weather, hundreds of families, club members, and district residents flocked to the marketplace to enjoy the catering, the live brigade drills, and the band programs. The fire brigade steak was once again the star of the weekend — a specialty that has built its own reputation in Leinfelden over decades.

Well-rehearsed team and tradition

The active members of the brigade organized the catering themselves, with help from volunteers from the club environment. The program of live music on Saturday evening and a morning pint + family afternoon on Sunday has been the recipe for success for years. The 62nd edition will follow in 2026 on July 4th and 5th.
