Overview

The Markelsheimer Weinfest 2025 took place over four days in May around the Markelsheim winegrowers' cooperative. As every year, Württemberg wines from Tauberfranken were the focus, complemented by live music from various groups, a wine hike, the winemakers' Buttenlauf, and an amusement park for families.

Wine Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Markelsheimer Weinfest took place as usual in May over four days. Weingärtner Markelsheim e.G. presented their vintage and the typical Tauberfranken wines — Tauberschwarz, Müller-Thurgau, and Riesling as regional characteristic wines. Thousands of visitors from the Main-Tauber district, the Heilbronn-Franken region, and Bavaria came to taste the wines.

As every year, the highlights were the wine hike through the vineyards around Markelsheim with tasting stations, as well as the traditional Buttenlauf for winemakers and festival visitors. Accompanying brass bands and mood bands provided the musical backdrop; a small amusement park offered family entertainment.
