Marienberg Christmas Market 2025

The 2025 edition of the Marienberg Christmas Market offered the usual scene for four weeks from the First Advent until December 21: around 30 stalls, the 7-meter pyramid in the market square, the Eisarena Erzgebirge on Advent weekends, the scent of incense cones, and Saxon Stollen bakeries. On the 3rd Advent (December 14, 2025), the Grand Miners' Parade with about 350 costumed participants and 180 brass band musicians in historical uniforms marched through the city center.

The UNESCO World Heritage status of the Ore Mountains mining region was evident in the high artisanal quality of the offered Ore Mountain folk art: incense smokers, candle arches, wooden figures, and pyramids directly from the region's manufactories. Marienberg once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most atmospheric Christmas markets in the Ore Mountains.
