The 2025 Margarethenfest took place on the weekend of August 2–3 in Bad Schmiedeberg. The Margarethenverein invited guests to a stage program, Platanencafé, and market in the town centre — as always, with free admission.

The 2025 edition of the Margarethenfest followed the tried-and-tested concept: stage on the Old School Courtyard, Platanencafé on the church square, market stalls in the town centre. The band Aberlour's was among the highlights, and homemade cakes from the parish were a classic.
