Overview

The 6th MAIN ART took place from May 9 to 11, 2025, in the Grünewaldhalle Aschaffenburg. With over 50 international artists, a broad spectrum of disciplines from painting to mixed media, and the traditional audience award on Sunday afternoon, the fair further solidified its position as the central art platform of the Lower Main region.

The 6th MAIN ART 2025 was held from May 9 to 11, 2025, in the Grünewaldhalle Aschaffenburg. The opening reception was on Friday evening, followed by two public days on Saturday and Sunday.

The fair once again brought together artists from several nations with works in contemporary painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. The curatorial team Brigitte Seiler-Rothfuss, Rita Stern, and Bianca Hambusch shaped the curated presentation according to the proven principle of dialogue between artists and visitors.

On Sunday afternoon, the Audience Award, endowed with €1,000, was presented — as every year, a highlight for both artists and visitors. With its 6th edition, MAIN ART solidified its position as the central art fair in the Lower Main region.
