Maibaum-Fest Güster

As the municipal report states, the sun shone "from a cloudless sky" in 2025 during the Maypole raising. The firefighters were actively involved – Güster's Maypole tradition has been jointly supported by the volunteer fire department and the village youth for years.

The focus was again on the actual raising of the Maypole on the village square, complemented by catering and a convivial gathering. In the state of Schleswig-Holstein, this form of village festival is one of those traditional events that maintain their firm place in the spring calendar without grand staging.
