Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Magdeburg
The 2025 edition opened after extensive safety measures and once again attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to Magdeburg's city center. Over 140 stalls, the 38-meter Ferris wheel, the Lichterwelt, and the ice rink made the market a firm attraction during Advent in Saxony-Anhalt.
In 2025, the market was under special scrutiny following the events of the previous year. The security concept was revised, yet the atmosphere in the city center remained undeterred: mulled wine at the Domplatz, ice skating, Lichterwelt — Magdeburgers and their guests reclaimed the market.
