Overview

In 2025, the Eckartshausen Rifle Club already invited guests to the annual Magdalenenfest on the feast day of Saint Mary Magdalene. A festival service, suckling pig from the grill, and pizza from the wood-fired oven characterized the convivial summer evening in the Maroldsweisach district.

The Magdalenenfest 2025 proceeded as usual: festival service in the parish church at 5:30 PM, followed by a festival evening at the rifle club house with suckling pig from the charcoal grill, pizza from the stone oven, and performances by the Concordia-Kids. As every year, the Magdalenenfest attracted not only the residents of Eckartshausen but also visitors from the surrounding districts of the market town of Maroldsweisach and from the Haßberge district. The patronal festival remains one of the coziest summer festivals in the Maroldsweisach district series.
