Overview

The 2025 edition of the Made in Germany theatre festival ran in November 2025 in Stuttgart. Four days of programming with theatre productions from the immigration society, curated by a Stuttgart citizens' jury, at several Stuttgart venues. Organiser: Forum der Kulturen Stuttgart e.V.

Made in Germany 2025

The previous 2025 edition continued the tried-and-tested format: citizens' jury programming, diverse theatre forms, venue networking across the Stuttgart theatre landscape, accompanying audience talks and workshops. The festival cemented its reputation as one of Germany's most important intercultural theatre festivals.

As in 2026, Made in Germany brought stories from the second and third migrant generations, from new immigration and postcolonial reflection to the Stuttgart stages — a theatrical mirror of Stuttgart's urban society.
