Edition 2025 — Lübbecke Civic Riflemen's Festival
The 533rd Lübbecke Civic Riflemen's Festival in 2025 continued the tradition since 1492: Battalion march-in on Friday, grand festival parade and Crown Prince shooting on Saturday, historic command handover on Sunday morning. The 16 companies of the Lübbecke Civic Riflemen's Battalion led the three-day festival, which is a firm fixture of the Mühlenkreis highlights.
533rd Lübbecke Civic Riflemen's Festival 2025
The 533rd edition of the Lübbecke Civic Riflemen's Festival followed the centuries-old tradition: three days from Friday to Sunday, with the classic program of Battalion march-in, city march to the festival grounds, festival parade, and Crown Prince shooting on Saturday, and the historic Command Handover on Sunday morning. The 16 companies of the Civic Riflemen's Battalion formed the parade. The decorating of Tonstraße began in the week before the festival date — the entire city center was transformed into the festival scene days before the event. Lübbecke once again affirmed its tradition as a "Schützenstadt" (Riflemen's City).
