Edition 2025 — LUCAS Film Festival
The 48th edition of LUCAS took place in autumn 2025 over eight days at DFF Frankfurt and partner cinemas in the region. International competition films were shown in the three sections Kids, Teens, and Youngsters, complemented by special screenings and film discussions.
In 2025, LUCAS was also under the auspices of DFF e.V. Young juries decided on the competition awards; the festival reporters documented the program in text, image, and video.
