Overview
The Long Night of Religions 2025 took place in early September as a city-wide event, bringing together around 50 Berlin religious sites for a joint program of concerts, guided tours, discussions, and meditations. The Long Night has established itself since 2012 as Germany's largest interreligious event.
The 2025 edition brought together Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, and Ahmadiyya communities for a weekend of religious diversity. Thousands of Berliners and tourists took the opportunity to enter spaces that often remain closed in everyday life — from liberal synagogues to Sunni mosques to Buddhist stupas. The Long Night is one of the best formats for experiencing Berlin's religious plurality in a condensed weekend.
