The past edition of the Lohmen Steenbrecherfest in 2024, from September 6-8, revived the historic village center with the proven concept of stonemason demonstrations, mosaic stations, stage program, children's entertainment, and the traditional Stonemason Parade on Sunday. The Lohmen sandstone tradition remains an identity-forming component of the village.

In 2024, the festival once again transformed Lohmen's village center into an open-air workshop celebrating the sandstone tradition. Regional stonemasons demonstrated their craft techniques, visitors tried their hand at mosaics, and Sunday's parade united generations in a shared vision of Lohmen's history.
