Edition 2025 — Literarischer Sommer MG
The 26th edition of the Literarischer Sommer took place from July to September 2025 with readings in 16 German and Dutch cities. Mönchengladbach, as every year, was a partner city with events in the Central Library and the Rheydt District Library.
In 2025, the festival continued the German-Dutch literary cooperation. In Mönchengladbach, authors from the younger Dutch generation read from their current novels, simultaneously in German translation or as bilingual readings. Organizer: Literarischer Sommer e.V. with the partner cities.
