lit.RUHR 2025 concluded successfully with almost 18,000 visitors – the 9th edition set a high bar for the anniversary year 2026. As always, Essen with Zollverein as the hub, readings with international voices, lit.kid.RUHR in schools.
With its 9th edition, lit.RUHR solidified its status as the largest literature festival in the Ruhr area. High-caliber authors, a strong children's program, and excellent reception of the Zollverein readings characterized 2025.
