The lit.eifel 2025 featured around 20 literary events between April and November in the Nordeifel region — Blankenheim was, as usual, a venue for an author reading as part of the distributed festival.

lit.eifel 2025 — Program Overview

The 2025 edition of the lit.eifel literary festival followed its established format: around 20 readings, discussions, and workshops spread across the Eifel region and throughout the year (April to November). Blankenheim was among the annually featured locations — along with Monschau, Nideggen, Mechernich, and Bad Münstereifel.

Subsequently, the lit.eifel organizing community confirmed the continuation in 2026 — featuring Pierre Jarawan in Blankenheim on June 10, 2026, the 13th Eifel Youth Literature Prize ("Hoping & Dreaming"), and other authors of contemporary German-language literature. Funding from the Ministry of Culture and Science NRW is secured.
