Overview

The 14th Linsenfest Gussenstadt took place in September 2025 in the community hall of the Alb village Gussenstadt (Gerstetten). The DRK Gussenstadt and the Gussenstadter Blasmusik served hundreds of portions of lentils with Spätzle and Saitenwurst, plus vegetarian lentil pan. Barbecue night Friday, festival service Saturday, main festival Sunday.

Linsenfest 2025 on the Swabian Jura

The 14th edition of the Linsenfest in September 2025 followed the proven concept. The Swabian "Linsen-mit-Spätzle" tradition attracted hundreds of visitors from the Heidenheim district and the entire Swabian Jura to the small Alb village of Gussenstadt.

The DRK Gussenstadt served over 600 portions of the original Swabian national dish, vegetarian options, and Swabian cakes from the local women's association. The Gussenstadter Blasmusik provided the musical program — polka, marches, and Swabian folk music — together with guest bands from the region.
