In 2025, Lindau once again celebrated its traditional Children's Festival on the island. A dawn wake-up call, a festive service, a procession through the old town, and the ceremony at the Old Town Hall kept the over 360-year-old tradition alive.

The 2025 edition of the Traditional Lindau Children's Festival once again followed the sequence preserved since 1662. At dawn, drummers, the youth band, and gunshots woke the island, followed by a festive service, a children's procession through the old town of the island, and the ceremony at the Old Town Hall with the song 'Lindau hoch'.

The distribution of the traditional Butschelle and amusement ride vouchers marked the end of the festival day and confirmed the importance of the Children's Festival as an identity-forming traditional event for the town on Lake Constance.
