Edition 2025 — Lieder auf Banz
The 2025 edition of Lieder auf Banz took place in July 2025 on the Klosterwiese of Kloster Banz. As in previous years, the evenings featured Liedermacher, cabaret artists, and emerging talents; tickets sold out completely in advance. According to the organizer, advance sales for 2026 began immediately after the conclusion of the 2025 edition.
In 2025, Lieder auf Banz continued its tradition of presenting German-language song culture in one of Franconia's most atmospheric locations. Veranstaltungsservice Bamberg once again programmed a mix of prominent Liedermacher, cabaret artists, and emerging prize-winners from the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
According to the organizer, the evenings on the Klosterwiese of Kloster Banz were sold out even before the regular ticket sales began – an indication of the format's firm establishment in the region's festival calendar.
