Overview
Lichterzauber 2025 took place on August 16 at Blühendes Barock Ludwigsburg. From the afternoon, model builders presented their ships at the South Lake, families crafted lanterns, and in the evening, the traditional light procession moved through the park before the light and music performance at the Emichsburg marked the highlight.
As in previous years, Lichterzauber 2025 started at 2 p.m. with the model boat show at the South Lake and the lantern workshop in Hahn's Garden. Thousands of visitors from Ludwigsburg, Stuttgart, and the wider region participated in the lantern procession and gathered late in the evening in front of the Emichsburg, where a gentle light and music choreography concluded the festival. The organizers once again opted for a quieter, more sustainable lighting concept instead of a classic pyrotechnic show.
