Lichtermarkt an der Christuskirche Oberschöneweide

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Christuskirchengemeinde Oberschöneweide opened its forecourt on Firlstraße for the annual Lichtermarkt. From 2 to 6 p.m., residents and families from the Treptow-Köpenick district gathered for mulled wine, bratwurst, brass music, and Advent atmosphere in front of the Neo-Gothic church.

As in previous years, stalls with handmade Advent gifts, craft activities for children, and performances by the brass choir characterized the festival. The traditional finale was the concert in the Christuskirche at 6 p.m. Proceeds from food and sales were passed on to the parish's work and local social initiatives.
