In 2025, the Festival of Lights on August 15 once again transformed Todtmoos' Old Kurpark into a magical summer stage of lights. Thousands of lights — in trees, along paths, on the water, and at the Kurpark pavilion — created an impressive atmosphere as dusk fell.

For years, the festival has combined the religious feast day of the Assumption of Mary with the secular summer festival of the spa town. Local music associations, Black Forest specialties, and the unique High Black Forest atmosphere define the event. Numerous spa guests, tourists, and locals flock to the Kurpark every year.
