Overview
The 2025 Lichterfest at the Niederfinow Ship Lift attracted numerous visitors to Barnim: illumination of the lifts, evening tours, and lockage trips made the first Saturday in October a highlight of the autumn season.
Already in 2025, the Niederfinow Ship Lift used the Lichterfest to present its double structure in a special atmosphere. The Old and New Ship Lifts were colorfully illuminated, evening tours guided visitors through the ship-lifting technology, and the association "Unser Finowkanal e.V." offered historic lockage trips.
