Lichterfest 2025

The 2025 edition took place in the usual February slot with two evenings of laser shows and light installations in the Park der Niebuhrg. The minimum consumption model (5 EUR from age 14) proved to be a fair way to finance the event, and the park was well-attended on both evenings. Families from Oberhausen, Mülheim, Duisburg, and Essen came for the relaxed winter atmosphere.

Following this, Niebuhrg announced the 2026 edition for February 20 and 21, 2026 — same times, same concept, with further developed light installations.
