The Lichtenberg Johannis-Kirchweih 2025 was celebrated on the weekend of June 28–29, 2025, as per the traditional rule (Kirchweih on the weekend after St. John's Day). A festive church service in the Johanneskirche, a festival tent on the market square, Franconian snacks, and the association program characterized the two days of celebration.

As every year, the Johannis-Kirchweih 2025 in Lichtenberg followed the proven pattern: festive church service in the Johanneskirche, opening of the festival tent on the market square, Franconian snacks, and beer from regional breweries in the Frankenwald.
The local associations — volunteer fire brigade, shooting club, music clubs — actively participated in the program. The weekend of June 28 and 29, 2025, attracted numerous guests from Lichtenberg and the surrounding areas, once again confirming the event's importance in the Frankenwald festival calendar.
