Overview

Libori Paderborn 2025 drew around 1.8 million visitors to Paderborn from July 26 to August 3, as is tradition. The Pontifical Mass and Liborius Procession formed the spiritual opening, the Liborinale brought high-caliber stage programs to the city center, and the funfair and markets provided the folk festival atmosphere of the "fifth season". Admission was free, as always.

The 2025 edition of Libori followed the established pattern: nine days of high feast, three pillars, free admission everywhere. The spiritual opening with the Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral and the highly anticipated Liborius Procession through the old town attracted pilgrims and visitors alike. Afterwards, Liborinale concerts on Cathedral Square and Market Square, the traditional Pfennigmarkt around the Cathedral, and the funfair on Liboriberg and Maspernplatz took over. With around 1.8 million visitors, Libori once again confirmed its status among Germany's largest folk festivals.
