Overview

In 2025, the 'Einholen der Letzten Weinfuhre' in Iphofen was also celebrated in its traditional form. The vintners paraded with their decorated wagons from the Einersheimer Tor through the old town to the market square, where the mayor and wine princess welcomed them. 'Bremser', onion cake, and lard bread were served on the market square. In the evening, the 'Kellerfest' in the town hall cellar marked the end of the season.

The 2025 edition followed the tried-and-tested procedure of decades. The Iphofen Vintner's Dance Group and the town band of the fire brigade accompanied the parade, while the audience of Iphofen citizens and wine lovers from the Franconian wine region lined the route from the Einersheimer Tor to the market square.

Iphofen — as one of Franconia's most renowned wine-growing communities and home of the famous Julius-Echter-Berg — once again confirmed its significance in the Franconian wine culture landscape with the 'Letzte Fuhre' 2025. The cellar festival in the historic town hall cellar provided a more intimate conclusion to the season.
