Edition 2025 — Leselust Bayreuth
The 2025 edition of the Leselust Festival ran from mid-January to the end of February 2025 in Bayreuth, featuring prominent authors at the Zentrum and a children's reading at the VR-Bank Bayreuth-Hof. As in previous years, Motion Kommunikation and Nordbayerischer Kurier jointly organized the series, regularly filling the event hall with a loyal Bayreuth audience.
Leselust 2025
In 2025, the Leselust Festival followed its established format: around seven readings throughout January and February at the Zentrum Bayreuth, an additional children's reading on Saturday mornings at the VR-Bank Bayreuth-Hof, with tickets available via the festival website and the partner bookstore. The program maintained its proven mix of current fiction, politics, humor, and reportage, guiding the Bayreuth reading public through the winter, as it does every year.

The series has been a fixture for several years and is considered the most important literary event in Bayreuth outside the festival season.
