The Nikolausdörfle 2025 once again brought together Leonberg associations, schools, and kindergartens on the historic market square for three Advent weekends. Homemade mulled wines, cookies, cakes, and handicrafts – and the unmistakably personal atmosphere of an Advent market that embodies city life rather than tourism.

Nikolausdörfle 2025

The 2025 edition of the Leonberger Nikolausdörfle once again confirmed what makes the market special year after year: Instead of professional market traders, associations and non-profit organizations take over the huts. Mulled wine from the sports club, cookies from the primary school's support association, potato soup from the tennis club, candles from the school choir – each hut is a small piece of Leonberg's city society.

The three Advent weekends brought thousands of visitors to the market square. On Sundays, the puppet theatre attracted families, and in the evenings, school choirs and brass ensembles provided an Advent atmosphere. The concept of bringing your own cup aligns with the sustainable orientation of the city of Leonberg.
