Overview
In 2025, the Lenneper Summer and Wine Festival again brought 17 winegrowers to the historic old town of Remscheid-Lennep. Lenneper Karnevalsgesellschaft as organizer, tickets for approx. €7 with glass and tasting tokens, three days of wine, sparkling wine, liqueurs, and live music. Proven format of a festival that keeps the wine trading tradition of Bergisches Land alive.
The Lenneper Summer and Wine Festival 2025 followed the established pattern: winegrower sales stands in the alleys around Alter Markt, tasting token system with own glass, accompanied by live music. The Lenneper Karnevalsgesellschaft was the voluntary organizer — a classic constellation in Bergisches Land, where carnival societies form the core of civic club life. The listed slate-facade town of Lennep offered, as always, the most atmospheric wine tasting backdrop in the Bergisches Land.
