Edition 2025 — Leipzig Marathon
The 47th Leipzig Marathon 2025 once again brought together thousands of runners in the trade fair city. Marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and 4 km led through the historic city center – a traditional spring sporting highlight in the state of Saxony.
As in previous years, the 2025 edition offered the usual range of distances with marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 4 km, and youth races. The run, organized by SC DHfK Leipzig, led through the city center with stops at Augustusplatz, St. Nicholas Church, St. Thomas Church, and the Völkerschlachtdenkmal. The race day was atmospherically accompanied by spectators along the route – a top-class Saxon city sporting event.
