Overview
The 49th Leipzig Jazz Days continued the tradition of Jazzclub Leipzig — eight days of concerts at various venues featuring German and international jazz artists. Ahead of the major 2026 anniversary edition, the 2025 festival again offered a program ranging from big band jazz to free jazz, from pianists to trombone soloists.
2025 Preview Edition — Before the Anniversary
The 49th Leipzig Jazz Days shaped the autumn of 2025 and set the stage for the grand 50th anniversary in 2026. As in previous years, the festival was broadly positioned — with classical concerts in churches, alternative sets at Schaubühne Lindenfels and Werk 2, featuring young talents and established voices from the scene. Jazzclub Leipzig once again successfully upheld the festival tradition as a non-profit association.
