Overview
The 32nd edition of the Leipzig City Festival once again offered three days of live program on the 5 major stages in the city center in 2025. Pop, Rock, Folk Music, Classical, and Folk on the Market Square, Augustusplatz, Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz, and Nikolaikirchhof — and on Sunday, the traditional ecumenical service at Nikolaikirchhof. Over 250,000 visitors from Leipzig, Saxony, and all over Germany.
32nd Leipzig City Festival 2025
In 2025, the Leipzig city center was once again transformed into a continuous festival mile for three days. The proven concept of 5 stages, over 150 hours of live program, and the ecumenical component at Nikolaikirchhof confirmed the City Festival's reputation as one of Saxony's most important open-air events.
For 2026, the formula will be continued with the motto «My Leipzig — My City Festival».
